The Scottish Patient Safety Programme aims to actively integrate and align its work with other national initiatives and programmes of work to support building a sustainable infrastructure within NHSScotland.
The effective integration and alignment of SPSP will embed a culture and methodology of safety improvement into the everyday practice of frontline staff and support NHS boards with implementation of its work and other strategic priorities and initiatives.
The SPSP National Co-ordinator and team host national strategic integration meetings to discuss and identify potential areas for collaboration and ensure integration and alignment of all relevant measures and areas of work.
